The third round tournament will kick off at 7am tomorrow.
2006 Acer International Amateur Invitational Golf Tournament moves on to the second round on September 21 at Sunrise Golf & Country Club in Youngmei, Taiwan.

Taiwanese player Yu Pei-Lin temporarily leads the 1st place in female players’ group with the two-day total score of 144. Taiwanese player Huang Tao temporarily ranks the 2nd place in male players’ group with the total score of 141.

Taiwanese male players lose leading place after two rounds. There are three male players stay on the top 5 and two female players stay on the top 5. Yu Pei Lin and Tseng Ya-Ni are under threats by both Korean and Australian players.

26 –year –old Canadian male player Kris Wasylowich who has won
4 championships in Canadian Amateur Championship tournaments today shows his skillful performance with a score of under-4 68 and leads the first place in male players’ group. He has an almost perfect position on greens, eight birdies, two bogeys, and a double bogey.

Chiang Chen Zhi who led the 1st place in the first round yesterday ends up with a score of 75 today. His poor swings of iron and driver temporarily puts him in the 5th place with a score of 143.

Sergio Franky Torres from Columbia who ranked the 6th place yesterday moves up one place today and temporarily takes the 4th place with a score of 71 today and total score 143, which is better than Chiang Chen Zhi after the count-back on the score cards.

Yu Pei-Lin gives an impressive performance by hitting the green of 18th hole, which is a par-5 hole. Her third stroke is on the green and only 2 feet away from the hole and then one putting to catch a birdie. Yet her approaches and putters need to be improved.

Korean female player So Yeon Ryu is made an exception to use the driver of the other player on the same group after her drivers are snapped when her cart is bumped by another cart. Usually players are not allowed to use other player’s clubs , the referee makes an exception today because this is an invitational tournament. Fortunately she is not influenced by the accident and comes with a score of 75 and temporarily leads the 2nd place .

Huang Tao who has been under training at Sunrise Golf & Country Club for three years takes advantage of being a home course player and delivers a fairly impressive performance even though his driver is slightly slant . He says that he plays under no pressures and just tries to perform as usual.

Chiang Chen Zhi does a great job on putters and ends up with 26 putters . He is a kind of unstable in the first 9 holes and comes more collected afterwards.
